1. We start by getting to know You
We are looking to understand your dream and vision for the outdoors, but we don’t stop there. We start with a phone or email consultation and we gather preliminary info that will help us in providing effective solutions. What are your likes and dislikes, how and when are you looking to use the space? At this point we're interested in learning as much as possible about the specifics of the project. Not sure what the scope is? We can help!
2. In home consultation
One of our project developers will meet with you at your home. We will walk through project specifics and work with you to better understand your vision. Here is a brief sampling of some important things to consider:
- Traffic flow
- Size of deck
- Materials - a common choice is low-maintenance composites, like Trex, etc.
- Deck lighting
- Built in seating, benches, planters
- Shade structures, pergolas, privacy screens
3. Design and Proposal
Once we understand the goals, scope, budget, and project specifics we then present a design and estimate for the project. Some additional items we cover at this point are:
- Permits (we take care of them)
- Construction schedule and timeline
- Deposits and schedule of payments
- Logistical specifics with your site
- Construction process and details
4. During Construction
An on-site project manager will be assigned to your project. He will handle all ins and outs of the project during the construction. Our designer will also be brought it from time to time as the project progresses. During construction we understand that your life can be interrupted. Our goals are to:
- Coordinate the construction around your daily life as much as possible
- Expedite the construction process so you are enjoying your deck as soon as possible
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
5. Construction is complete
Our project managers will ensure that your deck is ready for you to enjoy.
- Final inspection
- Final payment
