About Andy Martin
Hi there! I’m Andy Martin. I’m one of the lead carpenters for Woodland Deck Company. My parents taught me about respect and working my hardest in life to succeed. I was homeschooled by my mom through my younger years. When I was seventeen years old, I left Ohio for Alaska and worked on a commercial fishing vessel for six months. The tough working conditions aboard the vessel and the uncompromising weather in Alaska’s waters further enabled me to tackle hard things and give it my all. After I finished school, I went and helped my dad, who is a self-employed carpenter, full time in the field.
In my free time, I enjoy riding my dirtbike and quad with my buddies. You will most often find me spending time in the woods, camping, hiking, and hunting.
I heard about Woodland Deck Company from Jeremy Martin, one of the employees. BEST decision I’ve ever made! I absolutely love my job. What we do is not easy, but we give it our all. I love seeing the guys on my crew gain confidence in themselves to conquer any task that comes their way. I strive to make our customers enthusiastic about their decks. Communication is key.
The team at Woodland continues to build its foundation in Christ and family is a huge priority to them. They are my home away from home and I’m truly blessed to have them in my life.
