In preparation for future gatherings, this family wanted to take their new home to a new level. When they called us, they expressed an interest in building a deck that could fulfill this very vision: A place where friends and family could meet to make memories that last a lifetime. This would include a grill station, a fire circle, and a place to eat around the table.
What we envisioned was a design that would meet all their needs and then more. They chose to add a pavilion to their design, preparing for harsh summer days when the sun would be in full swing. The pavilion provides shelter from sunshine and rain to make their deck usable most of the year. The fire circle creates an environment that keeps everyone together. People can chat at the grill while the kids are eating at the dining table and the adults are chatting it up around the fire. Nothing feels better than having all the people you love in one space at your home, especially when your backyard is perfect for those moments and memories.
