We are looking for a carpenter, but the job encompasses so much more than the title suggests.
ENTRY LEVEL CARPENTER $16 - $18/hr.
EXPERIENCED CARPENTER $19 - $24/hr.
If you’re more of a hands-on type of person and not so much a desk person, this is may be your thing! We have talented foremen who started out as entry level carpenters and through work and training acquired the skills needed to lead a crew and train you. You will learn to read prints, install helical piles, build a frame, and install decking, railing, and skirting. Once you have all that under your belt, you will need to learn to cut steps, build a pergola build a skirting door just to name a few. Once you are ready, we hope to give you the opportunity to lead your own crew and learn how to motivate your team and help them grow.
A typical day starts at 6:30am. You will meet with your team and drive to the jobsite. You will be expected to help move materials and tools weighing more than 50lbs. You will be challenged and learn something new each day. Each day is different but typically a full day is 9-10 hrs.
Experience using power tools and driving a forklift, is helpful but not required.
